Dr. Bruce G. Atkinson

Bruce and I used to hang out in his dorm room in Smith Hall at Ohio State and shoot the breeze for lack of a better term. He asked me to be an usher in his wedding in which I unfortunately could not participate because I was on-call in my surgical residency at the time. I just happened to think of him tonight (All Saint's Day 2025) and was saddened to learn that he had died. He was so funny and smart. He was a good friend during my undergraduate years.

I was one of his patients... Yes, he made my smile extra pretty.I enjoyed his funny personality and our conversations.We teased Jessica a lot:)& I'll poke fun at him with Jessica.You were so kind and friendly to my two young boys. I'll miss you dearly and i will never forget you.

DR. Bruce was such a loving and patient doctor and always knew how to make you laugh. He was a very kind-hearted person and we'll always remember him for that. Love, The Hassell Family

He was a great man. He truly loved all his patients. He will be missed by so many people. Rest In Peace.

I was sorry to hear of Dr. Bruce's passing. He was an amazing man. Made going to the orthodontist fun. He always had a smile, a joke or a song. Even after my treatments were finished, he always asked how I was doing and always had a hug. Gonna miss him.

My heart is so saddened by the news of Dr. Bruce. Our family enjoyed his compassion as a orthodontist (3 children seen by him) and as a BUCKEYE FAN.... I've always enjoyed going to the office to chat and the laughter we shared. I will always treasure his personality, his dedication to his patients and parents, and his love for his children.

Dr. Bruce, you are one of a kind... May you rest in peace.
