I can´t believe it´s been a year Miss you!

Just gutted to see this news. I met Bruce during work on an investment banking transaction about 5 years ago. The meeting made quite an impression and I tried to stay in periodic touch. Most memorable to me was his genuine caring and enthusiasm for my own efforts in real estate and my wife's shared architecture background-things that with many others would not have even factored into that discussion. I worked for Bruce for 10 years always treated me like a professional. Big loss for the family and real estate community. he will be missed.

Dear Ferne, Claudia, and the Batkin family, We were devastated to have learned from today's WSJ of Bruce's passing. I knew Bruce for almost 40 years. His acute intelligence and professional acumen were only surpassed by his great spirit, loyal friendship, and joy for life. He will be dearly missed.
