Not sure what to say?

Bruce was a great friend who could always be counted on for a smile and kind words. He will be missed.

Bruce was a good friend who worked along side my husband for years at the Post Office. We spent a lot of time with Bruce and his family, including a monumental trip to South Dakota in a van. Bruce was generous and kind, with wry sense of humor. I am saddened to hear of his passing. Sarah and Logan, I would have been at his Memorial Service had I known. Love you, and your dad.

My sympathy to family and friends. I had pleasure of working with Bruce during my career at the main post office in Charlottesville. G.H. Carlin

I am so saddened by Bruce's passing. I just heard about his passing. Bruce delivered mail to the building where I work downtown. My coworkers and I instantly fell in love with him. We missed him when he retired. Sending prayers to his family

I am saddened to hear of Bruce's passing. I carried mail with him at the Charlottesville Post Office. We shared conversation and laughs that always made my day better. I remember his brilliant smile. My thoughts are with all who knew and cared for him, especially his family.

Bruce will be greatly missed. I knew him and worked with him at the Charlottesville Main Post Office from 1999-2018. Surprisingly sad news to hear but I know he is with God. His heart and mind was always in the right place and he always gave me good advice. Love you and miss you Brother. John A. Carpenter Sr
