Bruce was a great friend who could always be counted on for a smile and kind words. He will be missed.

Bruce was a good friend who worked along side my husband for years at the Post Office. We spent a lot of time with Bruce and his family, including a monumental trip to South Dakota in a van. Bruce was generous and kind, with wry sense of humor. I am saddened to hear of his passing. Sarah and Logan, I would have
been at his Memorial Service had I known. Love you, and your dad.

I had the joy and good fortune to know Bruce for many years, working alongside him at the Post Office. His is a good soul, gentle, playful, though he could be sparked to anger by injustice. On rare occasions my young son would come to the Post Office, either with me on a day off or with my wife if she was picking me up after work, and he would look for Bruce -- just Bruce, among all the folks there -- and Bruce would greet him with delight and they would chat away about this or that. It brought me joy to see them, two good people together, one very young, and one adult nurturing that rarest of traits, a heart still young.

I am so saddened by Bruce's passing. I just heard about his passing. Bruce delivered mail to the building where I work downtown. My coworkers and I instantly fell in love with him. We missed him when he retired. Sending prayers to his family

Bruce will be greatly missed. I knew him and worked with him at the Charlottesville Main Post Office from 1999-2018. Surprisingly sad news to hear but I know he is with God. His heart and mind was always in the right place and he always gave me good advice. Love you and miss you Brother.
