Not sure what to say?

It was a joy to know Bruce for close to 28 years as a patron of the Richmond Public library. I do not just call him a patron, it was a privilege to call him friend.May God bestow compassion on his wife, Lelia and his entire family !

Professor Koplin was a wonderful advocate for museum studies, and the study of art history in general. As a former student of his, I know he will be greatly missed. Please know that he passed on a wonderful legacy in the study of art.

Mrs. Koplin,
I had the great pleasure of working with Mr. Koplin in the Art History Dept. while attending VCU. He would tell me the most wonderful stories of his childhood and of his career. I have moved back to NY to help with relatives who are ill and will not be able to attend any services. It deeply saddens me of his passing. My prayers are with you and your family. Sincerely, Amy Hanks 1990-1992

Mr. Koplin was instrumental in my decision to attend VCU for my graduate studies. He was warm and caring toward all of his students. My condolences to his family, I know Mike and he shares his father's warmth for others.

I know you all have had such a hard struggle through this terrible time. My thoughts are with you and you have my deepest sympathy.

Renee Stramel

To Mike and all of the Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Always,

Jane

Bruce was both my instructor and faculty advisor at VCU. I will always remember some of his funny stories and his unique style of showing slides in class.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
