Not sure what to say?

One of the classiest people I ever met...We were classmates at St.Michael's and became great friends.....Sam was a riot to be with and a man you could always count on. We drove to games, classes, dinners, etc laughing all the time....I drove to his service from Boston when he passed away. I was with him the night he met his wife....Rest in Peace Sam....you are not forgotten.

I can’t seem to move forward, that’s how special you were to me. Even after nine years there isn’t anyone else who can fill the void. I love you and miss you terribly.

Hi Dad,
Nine years. Nine years where everyday you are thought of. You are still very much here in our thoughts, our stories, our memories. The hole is still huge where you were.
I didn’t get to say this to you, but thank you. Thank you for setting an example of what a parent and grand parent should be. Thank you for being so present that there is no way that you can’t be a part of this life even if you aren’t here.
I can still hear your voice. I can still hear...

Same was unique, a gifted athlete, bright, cordial, competitive and faithful to his friends. We were in some of the same classes so we exchanged noted and thoughts often. We socialized together and I was with him the night he met the love of his life, Donna. He often chided me about my "Massachusetts" accent and I gave it right back with his Northern Vermont accent. I got to see Sam after college on my trips from Boston to Winooski as I traveled often to watch my youngest son play baseball...

My darling Sam, It has been one month today since you left us. We all miss you terribly and think of you every minute of every day. We will love you forever.......we will be together again.....Love, your wife and family.

watched Sam play ball in high school...met up with him at SMC and played ball with him on an intramural team. He was someone I remember with great respect...a genuine "good soul". He will be much missed.

Dear Donna, I am thinking of you and your family...it has been many years since we rallied around slow pitch soft ball...Bruce was always a great inspiration with a contagious smile...his spirit will always be remembered....a long ago friend is thinking of you...Susan Mercier Hill

Donna, you have been in our thoughts these last few weeks. Our deepest
sympathies to you and family
