I think about Mr. Lynn often and remember him in March as my Mom was born in March and passed away the same year he did but in February. I always called him Mr. Lynn even though he asked me to call him Uncle Bruce. He was so down to earth and I highly respected him for all his accomplishments.

I want to let you know that Uncle Bruce has been on my mind recently. Last Friday is the only time that I went to a fish fry at the former school/church where my children went to elementary school. There weren't many familiar faces as it has been a very long time since I had been there. But then we noticed a friend we know from the nursery business and went to sit with him. It turned out he was sitting with an attorney who knew your Dad. His name is Lou DiFabio. He was on the Board of Governors and knew him well and he told me he had the utmost respect for him. He was on a case with your Dad on the opposing side. He pretty much knew all the attorneys that were at Bricker & Eckler when I worked there. We had quite the conversation! So it was pretty amazing that we happened to sit with them. What a coincidence for this to happen around his anniversary! Or is it? May God Bless him and all of you always. Sonia Brotzman

I keep on my desk a paperweight that Uncle Brucie (I used to call him Mr. Lynn and he asked me to call him that.)gave me which has a stamp inside which is the one that got published with one of this pictures. I think of him often as we used to send postcards to each other of our travels. I thought of him when I went to Madeira and wondered if he had been there. It looks as beautiful as some of the postcards he used to send us. Sincerely, Sonia Brotzman

To the family of Bruce Lynn: I was so sad to receive the information today of your father's passing. We are so sorry for your loss. Bruce was such an incredible, wonderful man and we feel blessed to have known him. He will be greatly missed. We met Bruce on our honeymoon in 2001 in Young Island. We had dinner with him nightly and so enjoyed his stories, life lessons and just being in his company. We always kept in touch and had an opportunity to visit him during one of his singing trips in Montreal, Canada and then again at his home in Ohio a few years ago. We can't say enough wonderful things about him. We have wonderful memories of Bruce and always enjoyed getting his Christmas card to see which photo he chose to use. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers and we are so sorry for your loss.

Doug, Connie & Anne and all the Lynn Family: I just learned from Connie W. about your Dad's passing. I just wanted to let you know how lucky I feel to have gotten to know him when we worked at Bricker. He was very special and loved by all of us who worked with him. He and your lovely Mom hold a special place in my heart. Your Mom cross stitched a beautiful framed picture for my daughter when she was born in 1983 and your Dad took the pictures at our wedding in 1981. I will never forget him. I have wonderful memories of him and your Mom graciously having us over at your home when we used to play softball there. He will be missed by all those that got to know him and were touched by him. I recently lost my Mom and it has been very hard for me. May you find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace with the Lord. Sincerely

To the family of Bruce G. Lynn,
Saddened to just find out of the passing of dear friend Bruce Lynn. I had the great pleasure of meeting Mr. Lynn in 1983 when I began working at Bricker and Eckler Law Firm and befriended by this great man. He was one of the most influential people in my life and after 3 years of working we remained friends. He, Laurie Miragia and I always seemed to meet up for lunch and have lively conversations. Mr. Lynn embodied "life" in every waking moment, really by the way he enjoyed every person who came into his path. Was lucky to catch him for lunch last year and we shared pictures, talked about life and his work and I was so amazed that he continued going into work each day, dressed in a suit for about 3-4 hours after he retired. Mr. Lynn's contributions to law were great as were his contributions in the field of photography....about 100 pictures adorned his office walls of the travels he took over the years. Not too many things jolt me but this is one of them. Mr. Lynn died at the age of 96 years of age and was still sharper than most 40 year olds. God Bless his family, he will be deeply missed!

Simply put, "Uncle Brucie" was one of the best friends I have ever had. My admiration for Bruce and his family and how Bruce lived his life knows no bounds. He was a second father to me, taught me most of what I know about the law and business and how to be successful in the most positive way, helped me to understand my gifts and how to use them, encouraged me to live a life of exploration, travel and new experiences, and most of all taught me how to approach life with the greatest of love and joy meant for all of us on this earth provided by our Savior, Jesus Christ. I look forward to when we meet again in Paradise, the ultimate travel destination for Bruce with his beloved Cornelia, with Eternal love, Connie Cole Welsh
