To Alice, Jim and John, on behalf of Cyndy and I please accept our sincerest condolences on the loss of Bruce. I am grateful to have known Bruce MacDonald. He was a terrific fellow and an inspiration for all in the Minnesota Scottish community. As you know, Bruce was instrumental in building the Clan Donald Minnesota organization, and the MCSC (Minnesota Coalition of Scottish Clans). His contributions were significant. Our sympathies and thoughts are with each of you.

For me, he was one of the big reasons I became deeply involved in my heritage and in service to the community and organizations mentioned above. His passion, scholarship, and his genuine caring for those around him inspired us all. My life was changed in a wonderful way in significant part due to the example he set and the influence he had upon me to...
