Not sure what to say?

Still think of Dr.Rubenstein every day. Rest peacefully my friend.

Can´t believe it´s been 9 years since we lost Dr Rubenstein. I continue to read his Michigan history books each year and reflect on him teaching me all those years ago. 1983-84. Still the best dam teacher I ever had. Continue to rest peacefully my friend. Thanks for all the teachings ! David G Long

I´ll never forget Dr. Rubenstein. Still a he best instructor I ever had in all my years in education. Rest in peace my friend. David G Long DDS

Like most heroic warriors in history, the impact of your leadership was not fully appreciated until after you were gone. See you next time, my friend.

RIP my friend. I still think of you often. My love of Michigan History lives on now and forever because of you!

Dr. Rubenstein was one of the greatest inspirations I ever had. He is the reason I am the teacher and have the love of knowledge I do today. He will be missed. Rest easy, good and faithful servant...

Rest easy, my dear friend and brother. You will always live on in my heart, in the books you left behind, and in the memories we created fighting for what we believed was right. The world is a darker place with you gone. Until we meet again, Bruce.

My condolences on the death of a wonderful man and good friend. To Deborah, I wish you the best in this difficult time. It was always a pleasure to meet with him in his office, where we had many good discussions. In these last months he maintained good spirits in his messages, in what had to be difficult times. He is missed.

Bruce was a beloved and admired colleague and friend. He was a champion for students, fair play, and liberal learning, and I will miss him.--
