An extraordinary and remarkable man who was a guiding light during my adolescence. I only wish I had the opportunity to share his company and wisdom later on in my adult life.

I was so sorry to read that he had passed. What a fantastic guy! He was a joy to work with at the Beacon City School District where he volunteered to help our young students. He will be missed by many.

My deep and sincere condolences to the family of Doctor Wood. I met the inspirational man around 1979 when I returned to school for a Masters in counseling at SCSU. My anxiety was high as it had been a few years since I had stepped foot in a University. Doctor Wood was my first professor I encountered and shortly thereafter became my advisor.
