Always cheerful, a distant friend who always remembered our names.

What a wonderful man his stories and wit are missed

No one will ever know how proud I am to be known as Bruno Bertucci's niece. My mother always told me how my Uncle Bruno had compassion for people at a young age and it continued throughout his entire life. The world has lost someone special. But we all find comfort that Bruno is now with Lena, Jack, Scott and Gary. God Bless you Uncle Bruno and Eternal Happiness!

On behalf of North Shore Post 29, Jewish War Veterans of the United States of America, we wish to extend our condolences to the Bertucci family at the loss of Bruno. Bruno was a friend of Post 29 and he cared deeply for all veterans. He was an active citizen in Highwood and Highland Park, and he devoted much of his time and energy trying to make both communities a better place to live.

Dear Bruno,

It was hard to let you go; the events of the last week have been tough. After spending Monday night reflecting on your life, and how our lives intersected the way they did, I can now say goodbye.

The last time I saw you, we held each other's hand. I didn't want to let go, but neither did you. It took a lot to release your hand and walk away knowing that I wouldn't walk the earth with you again, and knowing that I still have...

Farewell my Uncle Bruno. Farewell my Godfather Bruno. You were my go-to man when a question came up re Highwood and the North Shore. Who can replace the knowledge you had about so many things? Now you are with Auntie Lena and your sons Jack, Scottie, and Gary. Rest assured that Cousin Bruce will carry the torch for the Bertucci clan. May God bless your soul.

In was saddened to hear of his passing. Always enjoyed visiting with him at the Dental office. he is now united with dear Lena and son, Jack who also was a patient!
