Read MoreI am saddened to learn of Doctor Arling´s passing. I was his patient from 1979-1990 when I moved to California. He was and still is the BEST doctor I have ever known. I knew he had retired but hoped he was still with us enjoying life. His passing has left a void.

I was Dr. Arling´s patient for almost twenty years when I lived in DC and I am saddened to learn of his passing. He was compassionate, thorough, thoughtful, and funny. It was obvious how much he cared for his patients. I left DC 26 years ago and I have yet to have a primary care physician as outstanding as he was. My condolences to his family.

Bryan was a favorite classmate at Miles Standish Grade School, Folwell Junior High, and Roosevelt High School, as well as a neighborhood friend. I remember one particular evening at his home when we played games and listened to a record of Bob Newhart telling about the driving instructor.
