Burrill L. Crohn

I met Burrill at the San Geronimo gym mostly on Thursdays for senior ping pong and experienced him as somebody who was very determined to learn a new skill. And he was relentless in his pursuit. Given that he was my senior by 24 years, he for his own reason seemed to have decided that I could show him something that was valuable to him. He was the most persistent of all the players asking for at least a half an hour or possibly more to improve his ping pong skills, which I always felt...

I loved and will always love Burrill. Thank you for having planted yourself in my heart forever.
