Read MoreMy condolences to the family. My thoughts & prayers for peace and comfort are with you all. Ben was a great and honorable man. I worked in his courtroom as a teen (approx. 50 yrs. ago!). He taught me a lot - both about law and about life. His insight and concern for community helped bolster my decision to serve as a Commissioner in my own Fire District.

Benn must have been a wonderful husband and father. I didn't know him personally, but if his son Bruce is like him, he must have been an amazing man of courage and intestinal fortitude, compassionate and caring. This kind of person is one in a million. Condolences to all the family.
