To the Mars& Johnson family,

I knew Stinker very well, he was like a father to me. When I heard of his passing it instantly brought tears to my eyes,but one thing I know is that he is in a much better place now. Stinker has accomplished the biggest goal of all time and that is having eternal life.

To the Family of Calvin Mars...It is hard to understand when we lose a loved one but we must realize that God knows best. I extend to each of you my heartfelt sympathy. Calvin and I attended Beach together. He will be missed and remembered!!!

Dear Johnson Family, i just heard about Stinker passing. You all have my deepest sympathy. Remember he is not dead,he is resting in the arms of the Lord. When you feel sad always think of Stinker and his sense of humor and how he made everybody laugh. His Classmate and old Neighbor.

TO the Johnson family, I remember when stinka use to play his horn while i played my fist horn wanting to be like him when i was young. But now he is in a better place, no more pain where every day is like sunday. I pray that God give you strength in you time of need. Gog Bless. Love always

First off, my condolences go out to each of you with the Calvin Mars' family. The lord did a wonderful job passing the instrumental gift to him which in turn inspired others to play like him including myself. I can only smile because the lord now has his lead horn player in his band!
