Feb. 5, 1917 - March 18, 2010
Cameron Cramer passed away peacefully in his sleep in Whittier, CA. He was born and raised in Roseville and after his service in the Navy (during World War II), he moved his family to Los Angeles and served with the LAFD, retiring as a battalion chief. He was predeceased by Edith, his wife of 68 years. He leaves a loving family of 2 sons and daughters-in-law, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Elks and S.I.R.S. and was an active member of the Grass Valley Reunion Committee. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. A graveside memorial will be held at Roseville Cemetery, 421 Berry St., Roseville, CA. On Friday, March 26, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations to the LAFD Widows, Orphans and Disabled Firemen's Fund would be greatly appreciated. The address is 815 Colorado Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90041. My condolences to Cameron's family. He was probably the nicest person I have ever known. If there was anyone he didn't get along with, it was their fault not his. I never heard him say anything negative about another person. He seemed to like everyone and personally I will miss him very much.
