Camille Randazzo Ruiz

Camille Randazzo Ruiz passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the age of 82. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some way throughout her life. She was the beloved wife of 64 years to Gerald "Jerry" Paul Ruiz Sr. Loving mother of Gerald Ruiz Jr. (Mary), Petrina R. Imbraguglio (George), Alexander "Alex" Ruiz III and Cristy R. Ourso (Rodney). Daughter of the late Salvador "Sam" and Petrina Livaccari Randazzo. Sister of Lena R. Torres, Manuel Randazzo Sr. and the late Anthony "Tony" Randazzo and Lawrence Randazzo. Proud grandmother of Gerald Ruiz III, Melanie Stigler (Ronnie), George Imbraguglio Jr. (Jennifer), Jessica Ourso and Katie Ourso. Great grandmother of Gerald "Jay" Ruiz IV, Peyton Ruiz, Presley Stigler, Mianna "Mia" Stigler and Jackson Broussard and Isabella "Bella" Lemoine. She is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Camille was born in New Orleans, LA and was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. She found pleasure in the details of everyday life and caring deeply for others. She will always be remembered for her loyalty and dedication to her family and her church, her loving spirit, her laughter, and spoiling the grandchildren. She was a wonderful example of what it means to care for others and will be deeply missed by us all. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, August 25th from 10:00AM – 12:00PM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Camille's memory beginning at 12:00PM.
