Carey's passing is still hard to believe. I was fortunate to know Carey through our 4 years at Xavier High. We ended up going to the same college, Western Connecticut State University. We never planned on it but it just worked out that way. I have many memories and stories I could tell about Carey. What stands out is that Carey was everyone's friend. He was just one of the guys.
