Carey M. Hewitt

I knew Carey from working with him at Farmers & Mechanics Bank years ago. He was a great friend and I will miss him a lot I send my condolences to the family.

Carey's passing is still hard to believe. I was fortunate to know Carey through our 4 years at Xavier High. We ended up going to the same college, Western Connecticut State University. We never planned on it but it just worked out that way. I have many memories and stories I could tell about Carey. What stands out is that Carey was everyone's friend. He was just one of the guys. When Carey and I attended Western, it was the first year that "men" were allowed in one of the 3 dorms on...

I went to Xavier with Carey. We had many crazy fun times that were sort of an early 70s version of American Graffiti. I will always remember him as a very fun loving soul. My condolences to the family.
