To the Alber family, I am so, so sorry for your loss. Carl Alber was one of the kindest people, and greatest men in my whole life!
I am heartbroken about the loss of Mr. Alber. He was always Mr. Alber. My mom, Jean Wirth worked for him for 47 years. He had her name plate on his shelf with his Rangers stuff and every time I visited him it was a wonderful reminder of how much he loved my mom when she worked for him. He always came over to the house on Christmas and brought a Claxton...

A few days back, Walt Dobosz and I were visiting his aunt in Stratford. On the way home, I said we ought to drive by and see Carl. He suggested Carl wouldnt likely be working that day, but I can be pretty insistent (aka bossy). We drove there to find zero cars in the parking lot. Wait! Ill just leave a note. We have know Carl for many, many years and go back a long time ago. Wonderful, helpful person, always pleasant. Steve and Carl played softball for Stonybrook for many years. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Jim, Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family on the loss of your dad. Your memories of him will keep him forever in your heart.

R.I.P. Carl -- my pleasure being your teammate in horseshoes -- Our team finished 2nd. but, you were the best

To the Alber Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of Mr. Albers passing. Your Dad/grandfather was such an amazing man inside and out. You will be missed by so many. This is not goodbye, it's see ya later alligator (he used to say that to me all the time when I visited my mom when she worked for him). I'll never forget Pizza Friday's at the office or the secret candy drawer. Thank you for letting me work for you part time on and off during the years. It has made such a positive impact...
