Not sure what to say?

Hard to believe it has been ten years...Your work was not complete when your column was broken. RIP, Carl.

Rest in Peace Carl. You brightened my day as well as many others every time I saw you. You are my true Santa Clause and I'll always be your little elf. You are in my thoughts and prayers with love.

To the relatives of Mr.Ek...Carl touched many lives, and was a true person of honor.Loved by all.Me&my Fiancee Renee(and family)attended Carl's Masonic remembrance ceremony...What a glorious service!!!You touched Renee's life so deeply Carl,GOD bless you...You are at God's side.

Carl will always be remembered by those who met him as a person who unselfishly gave to others while looking for nothing in return. He will be truly missed.

Carl was a friend and will be missed. Pat & Vin Kalinauskas

Carl was one of the nicest people I have ever known....he photographed my wedding, was Santa Claus to my daughter when she was young, took me to see Yale Basketball games, and would always be happy to see and talk to me when I would run into him at East Haven Stop & Shop. He will be missed.

A great and dedicated Brother has been called to greater glory. He will always be remembered for his loyalty and service to our fraternity and the public. He will be missed.

To be a friend tried and true is just a piece of DeMolay ritual and that of my friend Carl Eks life. We who have had the privilege of being his friend will miss him. Rest in Peace my friend.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of your cousin. Though you may be low in spirit now, may the fond memories of Carl, coupled with God's love, bring you comfort. (Isaiah 57:15)
