Carl Joe Estrada

1956 - 2023

On May 2, 2023, amidst a brave battle with cancer, Carl Joe Estrada, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend passed away in his sleep peacefully at the age of 67. Born in San Jose on April 15, 1956, he was a graduate of Yerba Buena High School and worked at IBM for twenty years. He had many jobs throughout his life that involved constructing things as he enjoyed mechanics, engineering, and any kind of manual labor. He loved his grandkids, fishing, barbecuing, and gardening. Carl had the gift of gab and knew how to make friends with everyone he met. Carl is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Mary Estrada, and survived by; his wife Bonnie, daughter Melissa, son Michael, bonus children Janene, Andrea, and Anthony; siblings Robert, Danny, and Gloria, eleven grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.Services will be held on May 27th from 12:00 – 1:00 at Oak Hill Funeral Home in San Jose.
