Carl was a genuine gem. I had the pleasure and honor working with him at the City of Boise and learned a great insight to the Planning and Development Services department, it´s workings, and applications. Carl hired me at the City of Boise in 2017 and we became friends; more than just a Supervisor and Employee relationship. We were close to the same age, so we could relate to each other on a more personal, professional level. I was constantly going home and telling my wife what Carl did that day that was funny. I think about Carl quite often and miss his sense of humor. He made the work environment an enjoyable place.
