Not sure what to say?

Monnie, Fred and I recently heard of Carl´s passing. Our condolences to you and your family.

Carl : I will always remember your great wit , smile and upbeat personality . You lit up a room ever you entered . Enjoyed seeing you every time I visited Pittston . Rest in peace cousin . My thoughts are with your family at this time .

Where do I begin. We came from Connecticut in 1975 with our two little girls. Eddy D'Alba introduced us to Carl and Monnie and they took us under their wing. What wonderful times we all had coming from everywhere to train for the Olympics. His super fun personality was so infectious as he tried to engage our terribly shy daughters. Carl was our point guard when we won the boathouse basketball league, outing St Clair and the boys at Vesper. A great guy !! Andy Post

As fellow Haverford School parents, we have so many precious memories of our dear friend Carl loving and supporting his family and enjoying all in life. Our heartfelt love and condolences to Monnie, Michael, Chris and Margaux.

Carl made Carolyn and I feel the most welcome as we entered the Philadelphia rowing community and became Undinians. We will cherish our shared times at the Castle.

A life-long friend, rowing partner and Godfather to our daughter. His passing leaves a hole in our hearts but a lifetime of special memories of the times together, both in the boat and out.

I have fond memories of rowing with Carl at Undine from 1970-74.
