My deepest condolences to his family.
Carlos was a very close friend of many years ago. In 7th grade Los and I competed for the position of end on Mr Gorriaz's football team....Los beat me out. I can remember coming in to see him and his primo play at Char's...The Lum Brothers were a great band.
Los and I didn't see much of each other over the last 25 years...the last time I saw him may have been at the downtown Tap Room, but every time I saw him he always greeted me with that ear...
