I knew Carlos very well. I worked with him in Panama. He was truly the greatest person I ever was blessed to know. I will miss his laugh, smile, and just the sound of his voice. Forever in my heart, you will be truly missed, Love You.

Carlos was one in a million. I feel blessed to have known him. His presence here on Earth will be missed but I'm sure he's already made heaven a better place.

I, like many who left a message, worked with Carlos at the 362d. I am shocked and saddened by the news. My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. He will forever be rememeber for his humor, intellegence, and overall concern he showed for his "teammates".

I am truly sorry to hear about the loss of Carlos McCardell. I will be forever appreciative for everything he has done for me. After all, he is the Ric that put me in active duty boots back in 2001. We will miss you!

I am sorry for the loss of this valuable family member. Carlos was an amazing man that had a positive affect on anyone he came in contact with. I met Carlos while serving on recruiting duty in southern California. His humor could overcome all!!!!!! Carlos I will miss you brother and thanks for all of the good times!! You will be missed.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I worked with Carlos for a short time at the recruiting squadron and it was such a pleasure to get to know him. He would make me laugh everyday. He will truly be missed.

My deepest condolences go out to you and your family. I worked with Carlos from 2000-2003 in the 362nd Recruiting Squadron. He was truly a special person! We had many talks and shared many laughs. He will truly be missed!

To the McCardell family, I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Carlos. Like the rest of my fellow friends that already signed this guest book, words can’t describe how he was as a person and especially as a friend. I served with Carlos in Air Force Recruiting from 1999-2003 and stayed in touch with him when he separated from the Air Force thru the years. Carlos, you will always be remembered.
