To the McCardell family, I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Carlos. Like the rest of my fellow friends that already signed this guest book, words can’t describe how he was as a person and especially as a friend. I served with Carlos in Air Force Recruiting from 1999-2003 and stayed in touch with him when he separated from the Air Force thru the years. Carlos, you will always be remembered.

I served with Carlos from 1997-2000 with the 36nd RCS. He consistently led his flght in production and humor! I remember his smile while posing for his numerous award recognitions. He truly led by example and was always there to give support and guidance to newer recruiters. He would let you know how good he was, but that is what recruiting is all about. Carlos encouraged all recruiters to compete at a high level, which in turn had our squadron garner Top Overall Squadron! He led that effort! I saw an old picture last night of Carlos from my recruiting service photo archives. He was receiving yet another prestigious award from Colonel Henderson and his smile made me laugh and remember the old days. Once a recruiter, always a recruiter! God Bless and rest well Carlos. Team 362 has and always will love you!

My condolences to the family. I had the great pleasure of spending six weeks at recruiting school with Carlos back in 1997. He was one of the most natural salesman I have ever met. We were both stationed in Sothern California together and shared some good times. You couldn't be in a room with Carlos for long without him making you laugh until you were on the floor crying. Gone too soon RIP Brother!!!

To the Williams/McCardell Family....

He was praying in a certain place, and after he had finished, one of his disciples said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples." He said to them, "When you pray, say": Father, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone indebted to us. And do not bring us to the time of trial.

Billie, T.C. & Jermaine, I certainly cannot fill your pain but I can, have and will continue praying for you all.

Love Always....."Jan"

During this time of grief and pain I would like to extend my encouragment towards your family. I know that you are a family that believes in a God that is most high. In times like these, it is when he wants us to call on him the most. It is something that he expects from you. Just remember, that God is and always has been there for you.In times of pain God will comfort you, in times of sorrow he will dry every tear. He said in his word that "He will never leave you, nor will he forsake you". We as believers know that if God said it then that is exactly what it is, and for us that is enough.
