Not sure what to say?

Carlos was a wonderful, kind person. He will be greatly missed. My family was blessed to know him through our time at BMS. Both of my kids shared fun stories of how he'd "pump up" his arm muscles by blowing into his thumb like a balloon and make them laugh. I have witnessed his kindness and humor firsthand with all of the kids while volunteering at school. We crossed paths many times for social events, sports and activities, and also the times an item was left behind in a locker that we just...

"Man, I got holes in my socks that are older than you!" One of Carlos's many jokes I came to love. He had this endearing wit that made you smile as you laughed at your own expense. My man had a sweet jump shot. And as he walked away nursing his shoulder, he would say "Next time I won't take it easy on you." His contributions and dedication to his colleagues, students, friends, and school is one of the kind. Every school that has a Carlos in it has been blessed with a positive attitude that...

My deepest condolences to the Rivera family. Carlos was one of the most loving and funniest people I know. He always lit up a room wherever he went. I have some wonderful memories of Carlos. Ben Franklin Basketball and Baseball. And most of all. The WV crew , 4 time Champions in a row. San Lorenzo " Los Samaritanos" . Special memories and a special friend. RIP my Brother!!

My heart aches over the loss of not only my boss, but of my friend. The last thing he said to me when I saw him a month or so ago was "what the (bleep) you don´t (bleeping) call me anymore?". He was a great boss, a great mentor, and always was filled with so much joy, humor and compassion, and always went out of his way to be polite and caring to every staff member and student. I´ve been looking across the parking lot from Rockwell to BMS wistfully looking for his white truck that I would...

Both of my children adored "Mr. Carlos." They looked forward to seeing him every day and he made BMS a welcoming place every day. They will miss him greatly.

So sad, Carlos will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathies to his family.

A wonderful neighbor and find example of a husband, father & grandpa. I cannot begin to express how sad I am for his family and loved ones. there's a void in the neighborhood.

Carlos was one of a kind. He was able make everyone around him feel special! Thinking of his family! His BMS family is missing him terribly.

Carlos was a great man. Everyone who knew him would agree. He touched many lives. He always lit up a room and made you laugh. He will be missed
