Not sure what to say?

After all these years, I still remember the funeral service and the Easter basket story as told by Casie. I recalled this on my FB page today. And, as in the church, virtual FB was in tears. I will always miss Carmen.

Dear Yvette, Jeff, Alan, Mac, Cody, and Casey,
May I say that your daughter, sister, wife, and mom was a friend like no other? She lived life every day to the fullest and gave others a sense of purpose. Carmen was not afraid to express herself and had a way of making all feel that they were important. Her laughter was contagious, as was her sense of humor.
I shared many of my first experiences with Carmen. First bagel, lox, cream cheese,(remember that, Yvette, Alan, JEff) first...

Mac, Cody, and Casie:

Apologies for this late response. I was shocked when I heard the news about Carmen from my mother Maria today. I still remember you guys flying my parents up to Lawrence, MA on the spur of the moment to see my brother and I many years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Dear Mac, Cody and Casie:
My heart goes out to all of you on this Valentine's Day. I know your hearts are aching as are all of ours who knew and loved Carmen. She brought so much love to eveyone. All of us who knew her and loved her are better people because we were touched by her love. She truly was an angel among us.

Know you are in my thoughts and prayers every day as you deal with the difficult days ahead. Love to all of you.

Dear Langston and Lew Family,

Our deepest sympathy on Carmen's demise, we are grieving with you. We all loved Carmen very much. Carmen was my best friend when we were ages 11-18. Carmen's Birthday was Jan, 28th 1952 and mine is Jan. 29th, 1952 . Although we have lost touch over the years, every year on her birthday I would remember what great times we had together. In 1970 I married Frank Bartsch and Carmen was my bridesmaid. Back in 1962 Carmen's Mom, Dad, and brothers would come...

Mac, Cody and Casie,
We were so shocked and saddened when Adam called about Carmen. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Cody,

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. You are in my thoughts. Always, Allyson

Cody & Casie,
Your mom has a lot to be proud of, with you kids. You are both so sweet and loved by many. Know that I'm thinking of you...and if you ever need a laugh I'll be happy to supply a good joke.

Mack, Cody and Casey,
I graduated from high school with Carmen but didn't really know her well then. We became friends during a chance encounter at the gym in 1979, the year I moved to Tallahassee. We spent precious hours together with our children during those early years and had wonderful conversations when we would run into each other over the years. I will miss those surprise visits in the Publix Deli section or at a restaurant. I can’t begin to imagine how immense your loss must...
