Carmine DeCiantis Obituary
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Fiore and Grace (Besachio) DeCiantis.
Carmine was a pressman for the Providence Journal for 32 years. He was a member of the Corvette Club and was a classic car enthusiast. He also liked playing the lottery and oldies music, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He was the father of Anthony DeCiantis and his wife Melissa and Lisa Knight and her husband Chester and was the grandfather of Amanda and Lorenzo.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Holy Ghost Church, Knight Street, Providence. Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
VISITATION MONDAY 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241 or The National Kidney Foundation, 85 Astor Avenue, Suite 2, Norwood, MA 02062.

Such a sweet and generous man. He so loved his family as well as all those that he came into contact with. I believe we just hit it off right away when we first met and what fun we had. I will miss those days of happiness, laughter, and just chatting about all the things that were so dear to you Carmine. To you all I wish that you had more time to spend with him but know that he is now in peace and laughing and conversing with Pal and all the others that have since passed. If I can be of help or just be there to listen let me know. I absolutley loved you Carm and will miss you always. xoxoxo Pam

Our hearts and prayers go out to the Deciantis family, along with Carmine's in laws. We will miss Carmine very much, I was fortunate to know him since I was 18, he was a kind and gentle man with a heart that held a piece for all those that he loved and loved him. We will remember you always Carmine, you were a very special person, and we were lucky to have been fortunate to have known you.

Carm,it was a privilege to have had you as my brother-in-law. You were my second brother and you will always hold a very special place in my heart. I miss you so. You are at peace now and you have been reunited with all of your friends and family. Give Pal a great big hug and kiss from all of us.
