Knowing Carol Ann was a delight during our years in Danbury, CT growing up in the 60's and 70's. I especially remember dancing the "Chinese" with her in the Nutcracker and the way she looked like a doll come to life, so precious and dear. She had a certain energy that drew everyone to her, as if they would benefit from being close. I knew this about her even as a child and I'm sure it held true throughout her life. It was Carol Ann's essence, pure and infectious, a pert smile and a delicate grace. God Bless you, sweetheart, and all your loved ones everywhere.
Always, K. (formerly Karen) Machcinski

Mehdi and family - I came across this very sad notice today. Although I've not seen you for many years (33!) I recall fondly how gracious and hospitable Carol was towards me when I visited your lovely home. Please accept my heartfelt condolences on your loss.

Carol Ann, I will never forget our adventures together dancing for the Dorthy Burdette Dance Studio. We shared so much during those years of dancing and at Sacred Heart School and Immaculate High. I have been honored to be your friend these so many years. I have never known anyone sweeter than you. I wish these words could reach you, but at least your family will know that many people enjoyed the privilege of your friendship and love and treasured you as a person.
