I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to the Countryman family during this sad time. Many years ago, Carol played an important role in assisting my son during a difficult time. While working for the Wayne County District Attorney's office, her willingness to help us and her tireless effort helped to clear my son's name and made a tremendous difference in his life. She was an amazing woman and I have always been deeply grateful to her. I hold your family in my thoughts and prayers and...

It's amazing how a friendship can form from ordering stickers from thousands of miles away! I am blessed to have called Carol my friend. We were always sending each other silly t-shirts and care packages. She was a sweetheart who will be greatly missed.

I shall miss you dearly, my dearest buddy. I wish I could have met you in person. You are truly the kindest, strongest and most amazing person that I know. You are an inspiration to me to be a better person everyday.
