Dear Carol, I was so sorry to hear about your mother's death. You and your family are in my prayers.

Mrs. Dowd was very special to me. As is her whole family. As a neighbor growing up she was a beacon and port in the storm. My family was normally in turmoil and she was always someone who would provide loving kindness. No matter how much she had on her plate, and that she did, she made you feel special and part of her family. Her fantastic children are a testament to her goodness. She will be sorely missed.

I am so sorry to hear about Momo's passing. She was such a warm and nurturing woman. I am blessed to have known her.

What a sweet lady your mom was with all the kids she always had a smile and a hug for friends.

Every conversation I had with Mrs. Dowd included a beautiful story all told with laughter and twinkle in her eyes. We will all miss this lovely, classy lady!
