Carol was always making us laugh on our trips to Coushatta. She often got my husband to help out. Her daughters were always friendly. Carol was a straight shooter and I admired her for that. Weve havent been on another bus trip since she passed. It just wouldnt be the same without her. She always said she was blessed to have such a close and loving family. She is very much loved and missed by many who were blessed to know her.

Karen, Kathy, Ricky, Kimmie and all the rest of the family - I am so very sorry for the loss of your mom, Oma's running buddy, and my friend. Your mom touched countless lives - even in Ruidoso - she made numerous friends, who will be sorry that they will not see her this year. The Pioneers, the ACT Luncheon, the Ronald McDonald House, the Lukemia Society, the Light House for the Blind and many organizations that she volunteered for - usually with her sidekick, Oma. Love to all the family, and Carol Ann, if you run into Opa, keep him in line and give him a hug from me.

I had the opportunity to work and play and laugh with Carol on the School Tours Committee with the San Antonio Livestock Exposition. She always had a smile and good morning wish when she arrived and made the best Cherries Jubilee for us on work days. Our thanks to Carol and the Pioneers for making Teddy Bears for our Exception Rodeo children every year. Yes - she always though of others first.

Thank you to everyone who said great things about my Mimi! She truly loved volunteering, she lived for it, it kept her goin all these years! She was a truly giving person, who gave up her comfort for everyone else's comfort and well-being, which warmed her heart and in turn, gave her comfort! I love my Mimi, and it's gonna be so hard to move on, but through The Lord calming my soul, I know I will be able to manage, with the pain! I love you Mimi, and I'll see you again! <3
