CAROL ENDSLEY Obituary

CAROL ENDSLEY, 92, was called home to the Lord on Friday, Dec. 17, 2021. Born in Walker -ton, Ind., Carol was a daughter of Russell and Mildred Vance. She was a graduate of Manchester High School (1947) before graduating from Manchester University in 1953, later receiving a graduate degree from the University of St. Francis, Fort Wayne. Carol was a devoted educator and school teacher for 26 years with Fort Wayne Community Schools before retiring in 1994. She was also an active member of Bethany United Methodist Church for 62 years. Carol enjoyed reading, and being at the lake, but her greatest passion was spending time with her family. Carol is survived by her son-in-law, Robert Fisher; grandchildren, Lindsay (Lee) Brown, Travis (Khercie Smith) Fisher, Abby (Thomas) Gabet; great-grandchildren, Maddison, Cayden, Khloe, and Paisley Brown: sister, Suzanne (Fred) Barnett. Carol was also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Rodger Endsley; son, Ron Endsley; and daughter; Janice Fisher; sisters, Mary Satterlee and Bona Jean Bates. Memorial Service is 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at Bethany United Methodist Church, 7715 Sunny Lane, with calling two hours prior. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park at a later date. Any memorials can be made to Bethany United Methodist Church. Arrangements by D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, Fort Wayne, Ind.
