It has been two years since Carol left us, but not without preparing us to move forward. I will be joining the Ashland University Faculty in a fulltime capacity in August and I could not be doing that without Carol's mentorship, friendship, and example. I think about her every day and will continue to do so. ♥

Dr. Engler was an assistant principal at Buchtel High School, Akron, Oh. She was so spirited and so much fun, yet so inspiring and knowledgable. She had wonderful taste and flair for dress. I enjoyed working with her. Family, hold on to her lifting spirit. She and I always lost our keys.

Dr.Engler was such a nice lady. She would come into the cafeteria to talk with me. So down to earth and caring. We were both employed at East High school. Sad to hear of her passing, but happy to read about her good, full life. My sympathy to her family.
