Carol's Eulogy...

For those of you who don’t know me… I’m Carol’s daughter-in-law, Mary Hartnett and I’ve known and loved Carol for about 15 years. Many of you have known Carol much longer than me, and I’m sure you feel like I do…that there is so much to say and not enough time to say it. So, I decided to focus on what I think were the three most important aspects in Carol’s life—her family, her friends and her faith.

When I first met Carol I was amazed by the welcome and the...

The best legacy of a parent is to have raised and taught values to their children. While I never had the pleasure of meeting Carol Hartnett, I know the spirit and dedication of her son Robert from our joint service to the nation while in the Air Force. God be with your entire family - and may the great memories of Carol bring a smile to your heart, spirit, and her gifts she shared with you all.

Carol a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. I found the a quote from Mel's story (fighting cancer) says it best "Some people come into our lives and quietly go. Others stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts and we are never the same". We will never be the same because a piece of our hearts are with her on her next journey!

My most heartfelt sympathies to all who loved Carol as I did. My wife Rosemary truly loved her and sadly they are together now,I miss them both.
With love,
Manny

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I have asked this question many times in my life.

" Why is it Lord...
that when it is the hardest to let go...do you open my hands?"

Today I heard the Lord answer me...

I heard Him whisper these words down from heaven...

"so you can thank me."

and I did...

with all my thoughts and prayers

God loves you and so do I.

Bob (Grampy) and family,

Carol was a wonderful person. She accepted me and my "special" dogs into the Hartnett family. I wish that I could be there, but please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Love,
Mel, Bandit and Bear

Bob & family;
My deepest simpathy for your loss. I worked With Carol for over 5 years at Optronics and she was the best that there was. We had planned lunch at Kimballs, I'm so very sorry we never made that lunch. May God keep her safe in heaven
