CAROL ANN MAHONEY

My deepest sympathies to the Mahoney Family. I knew Carol from Scituate CC. You could say I was on the receiving end of her mentoring. She was patient, kind and welcoming. Carol always had a smile and I don't think she ever met a stranger. I would await her return to Scituate from Naples every spring. I will sorely miss her presence in Scituate. She exemplified the "Greatest Generation."

Ted and Family - We are sorry for your loss. Your mom was funny and vibrant the few times we spent together. Hopefully she is watching her beloved Patriots from above.

Ted, Gail, Brenda and Tim, I was so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. My parents and siblings and I had so much fun with you and your parents in West Roxbury and Scituate. Lots of laughter and happy memories. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Mrs. Mahoney was always a kind and vibrant presence on Fernwood Road, WR. What I remember about her was that she treated a kid like a person. What put me in awe of her was the time we were playing with a football in the street. She came out, took off her shoe and punted the ball high into the air. Deepest condolences to the Mahoney family on your loss. Carol was a wonderful person, and I am grateful to have gotten to know her over the years at the Beach Association to which she gave so much. With thoughts and prayers.
