I thought of you today, Carol, how sweet and quiet you were, the scrolly way you signed your name, lovely with a real passion and talent for style. Then there was a note to remember you in my email. My deepest condolences to Carol's family. I did not know that Carol had passed away until I received word after the Bennett 1972 reunion. Carol and I were friends all through high school. She was a dear soul to me, and although we rarely saw each other in the years after high school, she remained a person I deeply admired for her creativity and kindness. Rest well, dear one.
