I remember our early school years at Bryant School and the friendship we had at that time. Though we did not keep in touch in later years, you remained a fond memory in my youth. May you rest in peace Carol. To David, my mother died of complications from Alzheimer's. I empathize with you on your heartbreak of watching a loved one go down that road. A quote I recently came upon "Death leaves a hole that no one can heal. Love leaves a memory that no one can steal. "

We had many good times in the years past and I have many fond memories of us in our younger years. RIP my dear friend.

Dear David, I hope you read this. Hearing of your mother's death leaves me heartbroken. I worked with her years ago at the radio station. She was a wonderful friend. Insightful, humorous - a mother to everyone (including the cats she used to feed outside her office door!) It has been years since I've lived in Hornell. It was a whole other life.
