I remember our early school years at Bryant School and the friendship we had at that time. Though we did not keep in touch in later years, you remained a fond memory in my youth. May you rest in peace Carol. To David, my mother died of complications from Alzheimer's. I empathize with you on your heartbreak of watching a loved one go down that road. A quote I recently came upon "Death leaves a hole that no one can heal. Love leaves a memory that no one can steal. "

Dear David, I hope you read this. Hearing of your mother's death leaves me heartbroken. I worked with her years ago at the radio station. She was a wonderful friend. Insightful, humorous - a mother to everyone (including the cats she used to feed outside her office door!) It has been years since I've lived in Hornell. It was a whole other life. But, I want you to know, one thing I know without a doubt, that is how much your mother loved you! She talked of you with such pride and passion and love. You rocked her world! She was a better person having you for a son. She told me this often. I see you have a family of your own now. Take your mother's spirit and fly with it! She is beaming now! With much sorrow, Bernadette Bledsoe

My dear Carol you will always live on in my heart. Your picture that you gave me so long ago is still in my wallet. Another of Pascoe's beautiful Angels has gone home. Bless You, Howard Hamilton
