My deepest condolences to the Ratico family.
I met Mrs. Ratico at Oxford Valley Elementary school, I was in the 5th grade at that time. I gave up my recesses to work with the special needs children and she was an aid in the class room where 4 classmates and myself helped out. I will always remember her as kind and nurturing lady. She was funny to She taught me (us) how to take on challenging moments and that every person no matter the circumstance deserves a chance. I learned how to care for the children and adults that were in the program. From the 5th grade, she made a difference in my life.
