Not sure what to say?

I think of Carol often. I'm fortunate to see her artwork nearly every day. Working with Carol led to a friendship. One where we shared recipes, stories, garden successes and life anecdotes. She is alive in my memories. Wishing her family peace as they keep remembering and loving Carol.

I'm so happy that Carol's artwork continues to grace the world. As seasons pass since her death I think of her gardens, the view from her windows, her kitchen, and her kind spirited activism. She showed the way for how to live artistically, but not in a bubble. She cared about what was happening and lent her voice to the struggle.

Ellyn and family--Fred and I want to give your our love and hugs from afar. Celebrate her life for us!

I feel privileged and honored to have been able to call Carol a colleague, a fellow art teacher, and artist. She made a difference in the world, through her teaching and her art, and her legacy will be long-lasting.

Carol and I worked together all too briefly. We never actually met each other in person but we shared many emails, laughs, recipes and photos of food, family and friends. She was an immensely talented artist and it was a huge privilege to have worked with her.

Carol was a fellow art student at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, a
friend and artist and intelligent, thougtful, so gifted woman. We go
back to the late fifties/early sixties
and since, each of us having two
daughters. I admired her greatly and
found her a wonderful thoughtful, exceedingly gifted woman and artist.
She leaves a tremendous hole in my
life.
gifted artist and woman.

I was SO sorry to hear this news. I didn't personally know Carol, but so admired her beautiful artwork. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Carol, Your beautiful spirit, political activisim and sensitive interpretations of the world around you will be missed by so very many. I will miss your beautiful photos of meals lovingly prepared by you for family and friends and your gentle soul. Here in California, your name comes up often as I talk about the lady whose art I bought from the old Dorothy Bradley Gallery on Downer Avenue and brought with me to Southern California. It hangs in spots where it can be admired by all who come...

Carol's Art and teaching touched many lives. She will be celebrated in our memories. Many thoughts and prayers.
