Carol Pickens White

I'm sorry to hear of Carol's death. I lost contact with the White part of my mother's family years ago, but remember Carol (and Tom) with great fondness.

Miss Pickens was my French teacher at Central High School in the middle 1960s. I remember that she had been considered one of the most beautiful girls in her class while a student there. My friends and I liked her immensely as she was very sweet and patient with us. I recall that when she announced that she would marry and not return to us we were sad. I put together the huge sum of four dollars to give her a silver spoon in her "pattern". I send my sincere condolence to her family for her...

So sorry to learn about Carol. I was at Central High School in her class. I also was in Les Passees with her. Carol was such a wonderful and I truly enjoyed knowing her. She was a delight.

Carol was a great friend at Central High and we maintained that friendship throughout her life. She had the most infectious laugh and great sense of humor. Sweet personality always.
