Not sure what to say?

Carole was such a nice man who made you smile; loved his family and others. He will be missed.

I met "Smokey" through another great friend Carl Kaloski ( Bubba). We spent hours together in the great outdoors rabbit hunting having the time of our lives. Smokey is a man of outstanding character and solid moral fortitude. Proud to call him a great friend and hunting buddy. To his family, you all have wonderful memories I'm sure and rest easy...I'm confident the gates of Heaven are open wide to receive him home! God bless you all with this confidence as much as He blessed you all with...

My apologies for not attending his funeral, as I am in TN taking care of my parents. It´s with sorrow heart to loose such a great friend and Ruritan member. He will be missed.

Dear Crouch family , I am saddened for your loss, but joyful for his gain! Will remember him with loving mental pictures of knowing Smokey these past 60 years in Mechanicsville "proper",on the ballfields ,church ball games or our girls softball games. He was a nice, happy gentleman and fun to be around. My Bobby is waiting in Heaven for his friend. I can see them now! Looking forward to the GREAT REUNION Sandra,I am sorry for your loss of a wonderful husband. Prayers for you,& Kim and Lisa's...

To Lisa and Kim I know your Dad was so very proud of you and your families! And so is your Mom. My love and deepest sympathy to you.

Kim, Lisa and family... I am so sorry for your loss and grief. Please know my thoughts, prayers and love are with you during this difficult time. May your faith and beautiful memories bring peace.

Many decades ago, when I began work at "Vepco", I met Smokey and we both said at the same time, "Are we related?" To this day, he is the only other Crouch I ever met in person, & no, we weren't related but I adored him just as everyone else that ever met or worked with him. Outstanding gentleman of the highest caliber. To his wonderful soul I send the warmest thoughts and memories. He will always be remembered for his kindness, humor, and the genuine joy he shared with everyone. Peace be with...

Carole Smokey Crouch was a great friend and a better person. We spent countless hours together enjoying our passion "hunting". So many memories. Everyone that knew Carole loved him and he will be missed by all. Rest in peace my friend Carl Kaloski.
