Rest in Peace Carole

Absolutely no one like Carole Ann..I am sure she is blessed in the other side camp for all she did for the people. I smile big when I remember her. ❤ to her legacy Cante and her memories! Love ❤

Carole Anne & I met as grad students @ USD Indian Club party & left that night for law confence in Tulsa. We took her old VW that had no reverse! That was the beginning of a very close friendship for the past 34 yrs. We had many exciting times & millions of laughs. Bless you Cante. I can only imagine how hard it must be for you now, but she endured many difficult times in her early life & overcame them. I know you, as her daughter will have the strength to do great things, too. I am...

Carole Anne was a strong woman with a humble heart and a gift of humor. She will be greatly missed. I learned a lot from her.

A Flower Forever

For Maske Carole Ann Heart
by Lydia Whirlwind Soldier

Snowflakes flutter and
flash in the ripples of wind
like memories that linger and
leave an empty ache
as piercing as a missing friend
four days prairie wind sings
return her to places she had been
owl calls in the glimmer
of pure light, in the colors
of dawn, evening and night

like a forever flower
that bobs, weaves
in the southern wind
like a cottonwood...

God Bless !

Cante,
All my sympathies to you and your family. Your mother was a sunshine of light whenever she entered a room. I'll never forget her laugh and how she could have everyone laughing. She was an excellent mother to you, I remember her bringing you along with her everywhere she went when you were born....you even traveled with her through a blizzard from Rapid back to Bismarck with members of the Title IV Resource Center. I shall keep all my memories of her as most of them still make me...

Chante, I know your mother from her days at USD and throughout the years. She was full of such joy to have you in her life. She is a true leader. God bless you in this time of sorrow. She is never far away from you.

Chante Our prayers go out to you and your mother was a very intelligent and wonderful woman I have always admired her very much. She will be miseed greatly.
