To the Bittick family,

I was so sorry to learn about Carolyn's death. She was a good friend of my mother, Claire Council Zorn of Jesup, Ga. They went to elementary school together in Athens and were ADPIs at Georgia. I lived in LaGrange in the 80's and Carolyn was so kind to us while we were there. She came to my mother's funeral in 2003. I still have several receipes of hers that my mother collected. My aunt Ellen Council of Waycross, Ga. was a good friend of Carolyn's sister Sara. Please accept our condolescences.

Pete, I was so sorry to learn of Carolyn'd death in today's AJC. I remember that she was ill when we had our luncheon in May.
I regret that I never had the opportunity to know Carolyn well, but reading her notice she must been a truly great person. Geroge Alexander

Joe,

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my mom over 20 years ago and it is like it was yesterday. Please know that God promises to awaken those from sleep back to life on earth (John 5:28,29). What a joyful time that will be to see our moms again in good health. Until, we will miss them.

To the Bittick Family, May each of you find comfort in knowing that God is "near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." (Psalm 34;18) He has promised to soon "swallow up death forever...and wipe the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25;8) Take care,

Mrs. Bittick seemed to be a very family-orineted and loving person. We are reminded of Jesus love toward all human kind, and we can take comfort in his words at Matt 11:28,29.
