Dr. Hoffman, Mrs. Hoffman and Louis, I was saddened to read of Carolyn´s (Carrie to me) passing. I remember teaching her in kindergarten all those years ago. What a sweet girl! What an awesome young woman she turned out to be. Beautiful in all ways. Thinking of you and hoping each day that passes will be a little easier.

I was so sorry to hear about Carolyn´s passing. My daughter, Kris attends the Access program with Carolyn. Kris is nonverbal, loves music and loves to laugh. Carolyn always took time to spend with Kris. When ever I would see Carolyn she would tell me what Kris had done that day. I always thanked Carolyn for filling me in on this since Kris wouldn´t tell me. This usually made Carolyn laugh. Telling Kris of Carolyn´s passing was very sad. We were at her service today and I know Kris understood...

Please accept my condolences for your family's loss. Carolyn was a ray of sunshine every day while she attended The Pathway School. While she was with us I was one of the Physical Education teachers and afterwards became one of the school's directors. I retired 4 years ago and now have the privilege of serving on the school's Corporate Board of Directors. We met at the school several times and it was clear to me how precious she was to you both.
