Carolyn Markland Obituary

MARKLAND On July 3, 2014, our much loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend -Carolyn Sue Frady Markland (Susie) was reunited with her Heavenly Father. She is now at peace and is with the family that she loved so much and that has gone before her. Susie was born in Key West Florida on May 28, 1958 to Marie and David Frady, who are both deceased. She attended school in Orange Park from first grade through high school and was in the class of 1975. Susie and her husband, Robert Markland, were married 19 years and resided in Jacksonville. Anyone who knew Susie knew that she was fearless and unforgettable. Susie enjoyed a successful career in Environmental Engineering for many years. In addition to her family her one great love and passion was horses - but she loved all animals. She's rescued animals and brought many back from the brink of death. She had one of the biggest and most tender hearts ever. Susie is survived by her husband, Bob, daughters Cohen White, Cristen White, Georgeanne Hastings, Mandy Domingo and Kristi Rice. Her granddaughters are Alivia, Elisabeth, Kiya and Bela, grandsons Ethan, Kaleb and Aidan, and sisters Diane Searcy and Karen Frady Ferguson. She was preceded in death by her brother , Herb Frady of Delaware. A private service will be held for immediate family. You have my deepest sympathy.
I worked at the bank on Blanding at Harlow and remember Susie well. Her
sense of humor and obvious love of life
impressed me.
