Carrie,
I am so sorry about your Mom. I tried to find out about services for her so I could come give you hugs. I am sorry I was not there for you. I know how much you loved her and how close you two were. I would love to say I cannot imagine how you feel but with everything that has been going on with my Mom, I have been able to imagine and I know your heart is broken. I miss you and I am here for you if you need anything at all - maybe just to cry. You be strong and try and take comfort in knowing that she is at peace.

You and Carolyn are on my list of favorite people, and I am so saddened that we lost Carolyn. She was a trusted, sensible rescuer and advisor. I so much appreciate all the help she gave to all of us in the animal community. She will be so sorely missed, by everyone she touched, two and four footed. Please know she touched my life and made it better.

I remember Carolyn as a young lady riding horses. Being younger than she, it was a bit like hero worship for me. She never knew that she made such a positive impression on a little girl idolizing her from afar. I'll always remember her beauty and grace.

I was sorry to read about Carolyn. It brings back so many memories of Young High Days. Von and I have been married for 48 years and I do not know what I would do if he was no longer with me. I know that God will supply all your needs according to his mercy. We will keep your family in our prayers.
