Not sure what to say?

Carolyn was my first real friend in Florida when I moved here more than twenty years ago. In typical Carolyn fashion, she reached right out because she could tell that I was new in town and just a little bit lost. Given that Carolyn was so beautiful, poised and popular, her extraordinary kindness caught me by surprise. It soon became clear that Carolyn was an incredibly special person. During our years of travel for trade events and sales missions, Carolyn was the colleague who kept...

I worked with Carolyn for the past 5 years and although I didn't know her on a personal level, clearly she was a wonderful person that brought a lot of happiness and light to her friends and family. I always enjoyed working with her and will miss her dearly. My sincere condolences to her friends, family and especially Travis.

Carolyn was like a sister to me. Im so glad we spent the time together we did in the last few years. She loved my home state of Iowa about as much as I do, which always surprised me for a Florida girl. I wll miss her but am glad her suffering is over

My Aunt Carolyn was someone truly special to me. She was so caring and kind to everyone she met. There was never a loss for conversation, because she was always open to hearing what you wanted to say and how you were doing. Ever since I was a little girl, I have dreamed of becoming a singer. Even from many states away, my beautiful Aunt Carolyn still cared to hear me sing. She always let me know that she believed in me, and would always ask to hear me sing over the phone. Carolyn's...

Carolyn was a lovely young lady that grew up in Westchester as the sweet and smart sister of my little brother Don's friends Art & Richard. I'm terribly sorry that she had such a battle with her illness but it sounds like it didn't slow her down for an minute. My sincere sympathy to Carolyn's family, I'm sure she will be missed and always remembered with love.

Sincerely,
Scheryl Woods Coats

I knew Carolyn from Air Florida even though it's been many years since we spoke,I was so sorry to hear of her passing. She was a wonderful person and she'll be missed.

I remember my Aunt Carolyn as a great woman who I had many lengthy phone calls with about many subjects. We could share ideas for 2 or 3 hours, many times forgetting what we were first talking about. Some of my favorite memories from my young childhood are of me attempting to beat her in the game of basketball. There were many games played between the two of us in our driveway and my only goal was to win but I never did. I would always say it was only because of her height advantage and...

I feel so fortunate to have had a dear friend with Carolyn's integrity, thoughtfulness, humor and beauty...however, class is what comes to mind whenever I think of her, from South Florida to Dallas, St. Croix to Hawaii, she was always such a classy person!
You took on the last 7 years of treatments with uncompromising dignity and courage.
Today, I am thankful for the friendship we had on earth and will have in eternity.

Carolyn was my SKAL buddy. It was always a joy to meet her for dinner at these hospitality industry events. She always had a HUGE smile which was totally contagious! No matter how busy she was with her life she always made time to come to these meetings and was always on time! (unlike me). She was a great friend and will be so very much missed.
